Minori Sato
Teacher
Minori lived in Vietnam for eight and a half years, working as a Japanese teacher. Through that experience, she came to deeply understand both the challenges and the joys of living in a new country and learning a new language as an adult. These experiences have helped her naturally connect with her students and empathize with their learning journey.

I want my lessons to be as fun and free as possible. Having struggled myself with textbook-based learning, I know how important it is to connect with what really interests you. That’s why I aim to build each lesson together with my students—so they feel excited to speak more and motivated to express themselves better each time.

Sports: I’m not great at playing sports myself, but I love watching them—especially marathons and baseball. I’m a big fan of the Hiroshima Carp and recently started learning about Major League Baseball too!
Manga: I used to read a lot of manga growing up. I don’t know many of the newer titles, so I really enjoy it when students introduce me to new ones—and it’s even more fun to talk about them together in class.
