For me, the most important thing has always been helping students enjoy the learning process so they can stick with it long-term. Every student at Nihongo Picnic has different goals and learning needs, so I always try to provide support that fits each person individually. I truly enjoy teaching—which I think comes through in my lessons and helps students feel relaxed and engaged too!

Animals: Growing up, I had dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, quail, parakeets, and tropical fish. Now I have a cat I rescued five years ago. I’m also interested in rescue animal efforts.
