I always try to create a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable enough to joke in Japanese! I want my students to get used to speaking and listening to Japanese naturally—especially casual conversation.
I tailor lessons to each student's goals, incorporating the right materials and activities, and I keep track of progress with appropriate feedback. After each lesson, I share slides and vocabulary lists so students can review and stay on track. Most importantly, I work to help learners stay motivated, even when things get tough.

Traveling, cycling, swimming, running, taking walks, finding great coffee and tea, baking bread and sweets, going for drives, knitting, watching anime on Netflix, listening to music (especially world folk and Japanese city pop), and nail art
