Before becoming a Japanese teacher, Chiharu worked as a nurse and as a research assistant in the medical field. Her background in patient education and behavioral psychology, which she studied in graduate school for nursing, continues to influence her teaching today. She finds that these skills help her connect with students and support their language learning effectively.

As a fellow language learner myself, I deeply understand how challenging and difficult it can be to stay motivated when learning a new language. That’s why I always try to find study methods that work best for each individual student and support them every step of the way. My goal is to create a fun, safe space where students feel excited to speak Japanese and look forward to participating in lessons.
