Teaching Philosophy

Because of my background in psychology, I value empathy and emotional connection. Having been a language learner myself while studying abroad, I can relate to the challenges students face and aim to create a space where they feel understood and supported. I also draw on my experience working with children at a cram school to build a relaxed, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable speaking.

Favorite conversation topics

When meeting new students, I often find that topics like food, local festivals, and weather/climate differences are great conversation starters. I also love talking about pets with fellow animal lovers or pet owners!
